Does a bee die after stinging?

Cosmetic Surgery ClinicsSearch for Allergy Clinics

Yes, a bee will die after it uses its stinger on a person or an animal. Due to the design of the bee’s body, when the stinger is plunged into your arm for example, it pulls out the bee’s internal organs as the bee tries to disentangle itself and leads to the death of the bee. Most bees’ will only use their stinger at the utmost provocation and are for the most part more interested in collecting their pollen!
