Teosyal versus Juvederm and Restylane

Find Clinics offering Teosyal in London & UK »

The Teosyal range is not the only, or indeed, the first hyaluronic acid dermal filler available on the market. Another big product is Juvederm, which has been very successful in the USA as well as Restylane, which has been used in the States since 1996.

How does Teosyal compare with rival products Juvederm and Restylane?

Juvederm and Restylane works in the exact same way as Teosyal, using a hyaluronic gel to rehydrate and smooth out the skin by way of injection. Just like the Teosyal range, it boasts instant results and is fairly long lasting. One of the big benefits of Teosyal over Juvederm is the durability of the product. Juvederm treatments last on average between 6 – 9 months, and up to around a year. Restylane are around the same, each treatment lasting an average of around from 9 – 12 months. After this time, the product will be completely dissolved and the effects of the product will have disappeared. Teosyal on the other hand, has advised their customers that certain products in the range can last to an average of up to 18 months. This is quite a clear positive for Teosyal, as you could end up having effectively the same treatment, but only half as many visits for top ups. This would ultimately save money and leave you looking the way you want to for longer. Many of the positives of both products are the same, though. They are both a natural product, both use the same injection techniques, last a fairly long time and are noted by many to be relatively pain free. They also have many of the same kinds of reviews and ratings and cost similar prices dependent on where you have the treatment. One advantage Juvederm does have over Teosyal though is the amount of time the product has been available and used all over the world. A longer track record is usually a point that many people will take into consideration when making a decision like what kind of cosmetic enhancer to go with. The similarities between these kinds of products often make the decision very hard though, and things like durability, availability in your area and product reviews are all factors to consider.
