Results of Eyebrow & Eyelash Transplants

If all goes well in the surgery, you should have natural looking, real hairs growing from your brows or eyelids. With micrografting scarring is minimized, but be aware there are still risks involved with this and any surgery. The hairs may also need ‘training’ so they get used to growing in the correct direction as they were not originally eyebrow/eyelash hairs. This means you may have to comb your eyebrows and use gel to get them into place until they begin growing that way naturally. Eyelashes may have to be curled for a similar effect. Your hairs will also continue growing longer than your original eyebrow/eyelash hairs would have which means you may have to trim them regularly to keep them in shape and out of your eyes. Make sure you find a well-qualified surgeon as scars can be disfiguring if made on such a prominent and noticeable area of your face.
