When using the Caverject injections for erectile dysfunction there is a risk of suffering from some side effects, although many of these do tend to be low risk ones.   • Suffering from yeast infections
  • Feeling of tightness in the foreskin
  • Bleeding from the urethra
  • Bleeding and pain at the site of the injection
  • Blood clots at the site of the injection

If you suffer from minor pains in the penis and testicles and some small bleeding from the injections site then you should not have to change the medication as these side effects are extremely common and they should decrease as you body gets used to the Caverject injections.

The Caverject injections have also have been known to cause prolonged erections. These prolonged erections are often caused by the blood not draining from the penis quickly enough and if you have had an erection for over 4 hours you must seek medical help immediately.

The more serious side effects which have been reported are extremely rare and are only reported in around 1% of the men that use the medication. So if you follow all of the advice given to you by your GP and only take the recommended dosage then you should not be affected by these serious risks and side effects.
