Cycle Yourself Slimmer

Friday 2nd July 2010

Slimming experts are advising people to "get on your bike" in order to shed excess pounds after new report from the Harvard School of Public Health showed that pre-menopausal women who walked briskly or cycled regularly were less likely to become obese.

The research, published in the journal Archives of Internal Medicine, showed that cycling for as little as five minutes a day could help to ward off unwanted weight.

Researchers hope that the findings will encourage more women to use cycling and walking as an effective weight controlling form of exercise.
