Will I still need to have eye tests at the opticians after having Laser Eye Surgery?

Opticians recommend that you have your eyes tested every 2 years. Currently many of us do not stick to this rule, only visiting them when we begin to notice our vision deteriorating. It is important that after having laser eye surgery you should visit the optician regularly, within 2 years, just to make sure your vision is still OK. Even if your vision is still as good as after your surgery, going to the optician is still advised, as they can help to detect any slight changes in your vision or your eye health that can cause problems. Then they can help to treat you before the problem gets any worse. The opticians can also help to monitor and diagnose problems such as glaucoma that, if not treated can lead to blindness.
