Founded 2000 the Blackheath Eyecare Centre is a professional independent optician servicing South East London. Offering complete eye tests and hearing tests; Blackheath Eyecare is open for both private and NHS eye tests.
The Blackheath Eyecare Centre is run by a team of knowledgeable and experienced staff, led by optometrists who have worked for several years in both private and NHS practices. Using modern equipment such as digital imaging scanners and computerised test charts enable Blackheath Eyecare to provide a thorough and in depth eye test. Blackheath Eyecare Centre offers an extensive range of eyecare facilities to its patients; including eye tests, retinal screening, contact lens assessments, hearing tests and glasses repairs.
The Blackheath Eyecare Centre is not only able to examine your eye sight, but also checks your eye health; making sure that the complete health of your eyes is taken care of.
Designer eyewear
Blackheath Eyecare Centre offers a varied range of designer glasses frames and designer sunglasses, as well as contact lenses and prescription goggles. The trained dispensing team will be able to assist you when deciding which glasses frame suit you and your lifestyle best.
Children's eye tests
Eyecare for children is very important and Blackheath Eyecare Centre are happy to carry out children's eye tests on infants from the age of 3 upwards. If you have any concerns about how your child is developing, or if you encounter any vision problems then the earlier you get it seen to, the better. Free eye test are available for all children through the NHS.
Hearing test facilities
The Blackheath Eyecare Centre provide hearing tests and hearing aids for many of their patients. Hearing aids can dramatically increase your quality of life, and need not be too expensive. The Blackheath Eyecare Centre offers a large range of hearing aids, giving a wide range of choice. The staff at the centre will be able to talk you through your options and assist in your decision. The Eyecare Centre also stock a wide variety of hearing aid batteries in store to fit most kinds of hearing aids.
The Blackheath Eyecare Centre are focused on ensuring that you are fully happy your decisions and with the service that you receive from them. They are always on hand to give advice and general information regarding eye health care, making certain that you are well informed and assured that your eye care is in good hands.
The Blackheath Eyecare Centre is open week days (09:00am to 05:30pm and late,07:30pm, on Thursday) and on Saturday (09:00am to 03:00pm); with free parking available outside the practice. Booking an eye test appointment can be made easily by email or over the phone. Home eye test visits and late appointments may also be arranged.
