Dermal Fillers for Aged Hands
Find Clinics offering Dermal Fillers in London & UK »
We use our hands more than any other part of our body, not only for the mundane, everyday tasks but for gesturing and affection. Due to this heavy use, and exposure to the wearing affects of chemicals, pollution and strain, our hands can begin to age before any other part of our body. We often focus our rejuvenating efforts on the face, without realising how telling the affects of age can be on the hands. Fortunately there are a variety of treatments available to improve the appearance of the hands against the effects of ageing.
Rediesse for your Hands
A filler such as Rediesse can be used to plump out the skin on the hand, and improve the tightness and firmness of the skin and increase volume of the skin. This has the added bonus of improving the general appearance of the hand, and reducing the appearance of wrinkles. Intense pulsed light therapy in combination with topical gel treatments can be used to decrease the appearance of sunspots or other marks. For a couple of days following the treatment your skin may be red and swollen. There may be some discomfort, however any side effects are mild, and can be addressed before your appointment.
