Weight Loss Creams & Weight Loss Gels

There are more and more weight loss gels and creams available on the market, particularly in recent years.  These products are applied to the skin before a period of exercise.  Their effectiveness is variable, as many users have given mixed reports.  Many do lose weight using such gels and creams, however they would have lost weight due to the exercise alone so it is often uncertain if the gels or creams aided weight loss.  Some users have claimed such gels and creams have helped them to lose more weight than exercise alone.  It is important to note that some of these creams and gels have not been on the market long and do not have a proven history, therefore it is best to try them out in small amounts first.  Some types of gels and creams can result in serious side effects such as tremors, diarrhea, feeling light-headed, nausea and blackouts.  Again, it is wise to consult your GP about these products before going ahead and using them.  For many using a cream or gel seems like a very easy solution to their weight loss problems, however the results of weight loss are seldom lasting sadly.  Using weight loss gels and creams is not a method that will result in rapid weight loss, results are likely to be slow and need to be combined with exercise and a healthy diet.
