Corsodyl is a brand, which provides a full treatment to tackle gum disease. This treatment consists of a mouthwash, spray and of course, a toothpaste. The toothpaste is in the form of a colourless gel. It is recommended for use if you have gum disease or mouth ulcers and should not be used in children under the age of 12 unless it is by the instruction of a qualified dentist.

To treat gum disease using Corsodyl Dental Gel, you much apply 2cm to your toothbrush and brush for at least one minute once or twice a day. This should not be done for any longer than 30 days unless otherwise instructed by your dentist.

To treat mouth ulcers using Corsodyl Dental Gel, you must apply the gel directly to the affected area. If the mouth ulcer is around the site of denture attachment, you should put some gel on the denture surfaces before fitting them. You should do this daily until the ulcer has healed, and then continue applying the gel for 2 days after the ulcer has gone.
