The field of urology can be a sensitive one, and so a breadth of experience and skills is key to both providing great medical and personal care in terms of discretion and sensitivity to often very personal illnesses. Mr Richard Parkinson is a graduate of the Nottingham University Medical School with considerable post-graduate training including three years of PhD study and six years of higher surgical training in specific areas of the field of urology. After this he decided to take a fellowship in female urology and has returned to practice as part of the Nottingham Urology group as a consultant. He treats patients who require his surgical expertise for issues of urinary incontinence. Examples of treatments that he offers include Botox bladder . Dr. Parkinson is both a member of the British Society of UroGynaecology and British Association of Urological Surgeons Section of Female and Reconstructive Urology, meaning that his performance is monitored to maintain the highest standards nationally.
