Alli Health Benefits

Although Alli has a lot of unwanted side effects that sound quite worrying, it can also be beneficial to your health.  There are obvious advantages to weight loss, it can decrease the risk of heart disease and diabetes as well as enabling you to put less strain on your joints.  However, Alli can specifically help to enhance this.

Blood Pressure

Alli has been seen to reduce blood pressure of those taking it for over a year and Xenical has been known to reduce blood pressure among those who lose weight within 3 months.

Risk of Heart Disease

Although Alli itself is a relatively new drug, it is a derivative of a stronger form of weight loss pill given to the obese via prescription called Xenical.  A lot more research has been done on this drug than on Alli due to it having been used for over 15 years.  Research into the health benefits of Xenical has indicated that when people use it to lose weight, and lose weight successfully they also improve the chances of a reduction of heart disease factors such as blood glucose and blood fats.

Risk of Diabetes

Xenical has also been linked to a 37% risk reduction of type 2 diabetes when used in conjunction with a correct diet and exercise routine as compared to just an increase in exercise and a healthier diet alone.

Although Alli hasn’t yet been studied as intensely and Xenical, it contains the same basic ingredient but at a lower dosage, so would potentially have similar health benefits.
