Transient Insomnia

Transient insomnia occurs when you have a sudden change to your lifestyle that causes a sleep disruption, e.g. jet lag. This type of insomnia will normally only last a few days. Do not begin to worry about not sleeping as this could worsen your chances of actually sleeping. If you have had an abrupt change in your lifestyle then this sleep disruption is entirely normal. You should seek medical advice should you continue to struggle to sleep.
