The results of your treatment with Restylane Sub Q are completely unique to each individual. It will vary greatly depending on what you expected from treatment and what your practitioner told you would be possible. It is important to note that whilst changes will be visible immediately after treatment, it can take up to six weeks for the final results to be revealed.

What to Expect Immediately after Treatment with Restylane Sub Q

It is highly likely that you will be able to see some improvement in your appearance immediately after your treatment. As noted above, the effects of your Restylane Sub Q treatment will be noticeable instantly. You may experience some of the initial minor side effects such as redness, swelling or slight bruising, but these should go down within a few days to a week. Once these symptoms have cleared up, you should be able to notice a very positive transformation in the area you have been treated.

As the weeks progress the results of your Restylane Sub Q treatment will gradually improve to the standard that you expressed to your practitioner. This is because the hyaluronic acid in the dermal filler is attracting more water molecules to the treatment area making the skin appear rejuvenated, healthier and adding more volume. You may wish to take photos throughout the recovery process so that you can track your progress and note just how well the treatment has worked for you.
