The British Association of Cosmetic Surgeons. BACS was formed in 1980 and from the outset included surgeons with expertise in all forms of cosmetic surgery.
The British Association of Cosmetic Surgeons seeks to promote and develop study into new forms of, and improvements in, cosmetic surgery. It also promotes high standards of safety amongst its members.
It is advisable to investigate whether or not your potential surgeon is a member of BACS; membership of such an accredited organisation is a good indicator of the quality of your surgeon.
