Can I use contact lenses after a Blepharoplasty?
Find Cosmetic Surgery Clinics »
If you use contact lenses, you will be advised not to use them for at least 2 weeks after the surgical procedure itself. Generally it is best to hold off on using your contact lenses and wear glasses for a longer period after your surgery. You should be able to discuss this with your surgeon, and judge when you are ready during the recovery process. However, assuming you have no complications or more serious vision problems, you should be able to resume using your contact lenses in time.
