How soon can I exercise after Blepharoplasty?

You will need to make an informed decision as to when you are ready to start exercising after your surgery on the basis of discussion with your surgeon. Since it is of paramount importance to rest completely in the initial recovery period, and since any exertion within the first two weeks of the surgery can exacerbate bruising or potentially cause bleeding, you should abstain from physical exercise for the first fortnight. When you are ready to start exercising again, use your judgement; start off slow, ease back into it, and – most importantly – don’t stretch yourself until you feel ready, and your surgeon is confident you are back to full fitness.
