A Blepharoplasty is a permanent surgical procedure.  It involves physically removing part of the skin and tissue around the eye.  Unlike alternative or complimentary procedures such as Botox, it will not fade over a short-term period, such as six months.  However, the natural ageing process will lead, over time, to the treated area sagging and lining again.  The duration of the beneficial results of your Blepharoplasty will depend on a combination of factors; the exact extent of your surgery, the natural condition of your skin, and lifestyle and environment.
