What other Options are there for Pinnaplasty?

Unfortunately non-invasive alternatives to Pinnaplasty have not yet been successful.  It might be possible to alter the angle of a baby’s ears, although whether or not this is a good idea is debateable.  Often children will grow into their ears, and it is normally best to leave them alone. For adults brace type moulds are being developed, but have so far had little success. A temporary fix is to use adhesives to almost stick the ears back.  These are good as a very short-term fix, however they won’t change the shape or size of your ear.  Also, if you use adhesives to excess, they can jeopardise your chances to have Pinnaplasty at a later date.
