Normally your surgeon will position the incisions behind your ears, so that they remain hidden. Although you will always have scars there, they won’t be noticeable to others. Occasionally your surgeon might need to make incisions in front of the ear, but this will be done in a way that will minimise the amount of scarring and will be very subtle. Like all scars they will fade over time although they will never disappear entirely.
