Can I have a labiaplasty if I am pregnant or if considering having another child?

It is advised that you have no vaginal surgery when pregnant, or if trying for a baby. The effects of the surgery might make the process of childbirth extremely painful, and could lead to complications due to rupturing of the scar tissue. It would be best for you to wait until a year has past after having children, so that your vulva can completely heal and will be back to usual shape. This will allow your surgeon to conduct the surgery accurately and will give you a better chance at having surgery that you are happy with.
