Does a Tummy Tuck hurt?

There is pain after your surgery, but it will be controlled with painkillers and anti-inflammatories given to you by your surgeon. The first few days will be hard, you will find it difficult to do normal tasks and even sitting up might cause you problems. It is advisable to get someone to help you through this time, as the less you do the less pain you will be in. Giving your body time to recover is important and it will help if you take it easy in the first few days. Normally people are back at work within a few weeks of their tummy tuck surgery.
