Difference Between Skin Tags & Warts

Skin Tag Removal in London & UK »

Skin tags can look very similar to warts, especially when they form in clusters.  Removing a wart in the same way that you would a skin tag will work to remove it, however there is a chance that it might grow back.  Warts are formed due to a virus called HPV, whereas skin tags are not linked to any viral problems at all.

Normally warts and skin tags can be easily distinguished, with a different form and a different texture.  Skin tags are soft, and can vary greatly in size and shape, whereas warts are nearly always cylindrical, and take on a hardened form to the rest of your skin.
