When will my new hair start to grow?

After your hair follicles are inserted, the shock of the surgery will cause them to fall out within about 10 days of the transplantation procedure in a process called telogen effluvium. During this process, the hairs are in their restive telogen state. Within 3-6 months, the follicles will come out of their restive telogen state and into their anagen growing state which is when your newly transplanted hairs should begin to grow.
