Cialis & Blood Pressure

Cialis can at times affect other medication which you may be taking for other health conditions such as high blood pressure. This mixture of drugs could potentially cause extreme risks and side effects and you should tell your GP about any drugs or supplements that you are taking to try and regulate your blood pressure.

Cialis and Nitrates

If you are using nitrates to try and treat your blood pressure with drugs such as nitroglycerin or isosorbide mononitrate, then Cialis could further increase the side effects of increased heart rates and the lowering of blood pressure. This mixture could be potentially fatal and therefore Cialis should never be used alongside any sort of nitrate.

Cialis should also be used with extreme caution if you are currently using alpha blockers to treat high blood pressure as the Cialis could dramatically decrease the level of blood pressure which could cause extreme dizziness and nausea. If you are taking beta blockers then Cialis could still work for you however it is recommended to start on the lowest dose to ensure that the side effects do not affect your health.

One of the most common side effects of Cialis is the lowering of blood pressure and so even if you are not receiving treatment for having low blood pressure you should use the drug with caution as you may be more vulnerable to other more serious side effects. This is also another reason why it is important to get checked by your GP before you take Calais as an underlying health concern such as low blood pressure could go unnoticed and cause even more health problems.
